Of the above quotes, I found 10 of them that resonated with me:

"How people treat you is their arms; how you react is yours."
"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls. The massive characters are seared with scars."

"Love is giving someone the ability to destroy you, but trusting them not to."
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched -- they must be felt with the heart."
"The strength of a family, like the strength of an army, is in its loyalty to each other."
Mitch's quote: Mitch's quote inspired me because I have lost many people in my life, even animals. It has helped me remember that when a loved one passes away, they are no longer in the physical world, yes, but that doesn't mean that they aren't necessarily in your hearts, or in your thoughts. They are only a thought away. All you have to do is talk, and they will listen. You may not be able to hear them talk to you in return, but that doesn't mean that they can't hear you; that doesn't mean that they aren't listening.
Washington Irving's Quote: I have lost many loved ones throughout my life. When I lost my great aunt and great uncle (emphasis on great), I didn't cry at their wakes when I saw their bodies (for the last time), I cried when their (closed) caskets were being wheeled into the chapel -- that's when I realized that they weren't coming back -- that I wouldn't be able to see them again. I was strong for their wakes because I saw them. When I was in the funeral, with their caskets closed, that's when the realization came to me that that was the end; I wouldn't be able to see them again. I had let go of so much sadness that I had bottled up at those two funerals -- so much so that I don't know how I could live with it, I just did... letting it weigh me down day after day, not letting it go. Most of it I didn't even know I was carrying. I just knew that when I was done crying, I felt better. I felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders.
Before my great aunt's funeral, I had a dream that I was in the chapel (where her funeral was going to be the following morning -- I didn't know that detail until I got there that day), I felt a presence around me; I was alone, but there was the presence of a spirit around me. I knew that it was her -- saying goodbye, in a way; making sure that I knew that she's always around me.
Wayne Dyer's Quote: There are many times when people act negatively toward you, and many times when people act positively toward you. Either way people act is on them; you can't choose how someone acts, or doesn't act, toward you. You can only choose how you do, or don't, act against them.
Khalil Gibran's Quote: There are many people who go through many, painful, experiences in their lives. There are many people who are strong, who are strong willed. The only way that they have become that way is overcoming hardships, by overcoming suffering.
Joseph Campbell's Quote: There are many people who will tell you that you are doing something wrong, that you are fat, that you are ugly or that you don't belong here. The only reason that they say that is because they want to bring you down to their level; they want to make you sad, make you miserable like them. The only way that you will be able to counteract that, the only way that you will be able to find positivity in it, is if you look inside yourself and think positive thoughts.
Emliy Dickinson's Quote: You can have hope with anything: someone coming out of a life-threatening operation with 'flying colors', someone recovering from an accident with no 'after' affects, etc. You can only hope that they will get better. Sometimes you feel like you lose hope, but deep down, it is always there; you just have to search for it.
Paul Boese's Quote: If something happens to you that you wish didn't, that wish won't make it that it didn't happen. You can't change what happened to you; you can only accept it and move on into the future with the mindset that you won't let what happened to you in the past happen again. You can't move on, though, and hold a grudge; that wouldn't be good for you or the person who hurt you. You have to forgive and forget. You don't have to forgive the person for what they did, necessarily, but you have to forgive yourself for letting what happened to you happen to you.
Unknown's Quote: There are many people that we meet on our paths from friends to loved one's loved ones (e.g. A spouses' family members for the first time). You can pick your spouses and you can imagine your future with him or her, but you can't guarantee it. You can't guarantee that they won't hurt you in one way or another. When you love them, you are hoping, deep down, that they will not hurt you. You are putting that trust, that trust into them that they won't, and believing it.
Helen Keller's Quote: Love is the first thing that comes to mind when I read this quote from Keller. Love is an emotion, but it is something that can be shown with physical things. You can't feel it, but you know that it's there. You just have to know that it's there. You can see it when you look into your significant other's eyes, or when they kiss or hug you; you can just feel the love from them; you can feel the positive emotions that they have for you -- you can feel that they care for you.
Mario Puzo's Quote: There are many families -- from blood to friendship-families (such as soldiers' platoons and whatnot) that are close and will do anything for one another; they would even lay down their lives for each other. They will be at each other's side when they are needed, when they are called. They know that they are loved by the actions of one another, by the fact that they have each other's backs.
Above are outlined the quotes that inspire me and reasonings for them, what quote inspire you?
