As we all well know, Pope Francis, or as he is known at the Vatican, Papa Francesco, has made his first ever trip to the United States with planned stops in Washington DC, New York and Philadelphia.

There are many different thought patterns on both sides of the political spectrum about the "People's Pope" visiting the United States and addressing a joint session of Congress on political issues. Some people think that he shouldn't be doing this because he is the head of the Catholic Church - he should be separate from the politics of the world.
