So after much research, I have found the real term for "gut" predictions. I have had this sense I was born, only recently started to really pay attention to this. I felt the pain, I felt hurt, and much more from my "clients". I have felt horrible things that could happen, I have felt many heartbreaks. I have not be wrong yet, I don't really get paid for this because I really didn't put it out to the public that I can do this. I get a better connection when I can feel the person, be able to touch the person, but I can do a somewhat prediction online, but it's not very easy. I have given predictions to my friends, knowing their relationships, knowing it will end, knowing when someone isn't being true,..etc.

Clairsentience is Clear Feeling. Clear Feeling entails feeling the presences of spirits. If you feel the emotions of other people, you're an empath. I have had many times where my gut feeling comes in. Claircognizance (Clear Knowing) is the knowing of information without knowing exactly how you obtained it - that happens a lot to me, too.

So, you hear spirit's voices (Clairaudience - Clear Hearing)? You see spirits in the form of apparitions (Clairvoyance - Clear Seeing)? Automatic writing is something that I have wanted to do for the longest time, but I have heard different things about it.

I can hear them when it's really quite and I concentrate, I can barely see them, I kind of want to automatic write..

So, when you are in a quiet area you can hear them? Thai's great! In the beginning, I could barely see them, too. I have wanted to automatic write for the longest time, but I haven't really found the courage to try it. I mean, in a sense, it's allowing a spirit to take over a part of your body (your hand) to give messages.

Allowing a spirit taking over your body is chancy, but many people try to do it.

You're exactly right - they do try to do it. I don't envy them, though. I am amazed that they have the courage to do it, but then again - it's not really courage that they have. They have trust in spirit.

Long ago, I was suggested of asking a spirit "Are you of the Light?" A prospective spirit that wants to use me to communicate can say either Yes or No. I am supposed to ask them three times and if they say yes all three times, then I let them talk to me. If they say no either of those three times, I let them go.

Does that make sense?

Yes. I don't like allowing spirits to tangle and use my body, it makes my soul feel weak.

That's definitely understandable. I have been afraid to let spirits in, but then again, I found out about a year and two months ago that I am a trance medium. I don't tell that to a lot of people because I'm still trying to heighten that ability, but I haven't "labeled" myself as such. I mean, if someone asks me, I'd say yes, but I don't actively let spirits come through me. I don't actively channel spirit.

My spirit never feels weak, though, because that is the one piece of you that they can't trifle with, so to speak.

Being the bridge between the physical and spirit worlds is rewarding work. I have been doing it on and off for a few years now and the greatest reward I can get is the satisfied look on a client's face. To me, that's the greatest reward. The kind words and gratitude from my clients is why I sill do this work.

If you're not comfortable with it, don't try it. Wait until you are absolutely comfortable with doing it.
