I am Lorrie, aka RevLorrie. Momma to 2 kids plus 3 stepkids, grandma to...I lost count, lol. 14- 4/9ths? ( the 4/9th is due in October, my sons child) Not sure what to say about myself, I am just me, an old chronically- pained disabled hermit woman, raising a 3- yr- old stepgrandson who is the center of my whole universe.
I became ordained in order to be able to marry people from the pagan community or anyone else who doesn't have a desire to marry in the traditional way. Due to extreme social anxiety, I do not do many! I have been toying with the idea of learning Palliative Care, many are afraid of death, but I do not see most things as other people tend to, including death. Maybe doing Spiritual Guidance, I began lessons through ULC for this but keep getting distracted with the book list...... kind of related to my ADHD, so besides the "OH SHINY" I do "OH BOOKS!" also. Never made it past the 2nd lesson, but have read MANY MANY books for it, and I began the lessons a few years ago. I am also currently studying Infant Trauma in order to help my little guy, I have since found that we both have PTSD, RAD, ADHD. He has a few more of course, poor dude. We are both getting treatment for our issues currently.
My kids are 33 and 35, wonderful adults, awesome parents. My daughter ( oldest child) is local to me, my son is in the Army, about to head back to the USA in just a few weeks. My stepkids...well....I do not get along with them real well, I have tried, was very much taken advantage of, ended in disaster, lesson learned. Two still live in Ohio, one ( my little guy's maternal unit) lives local. I speak to one in Ohio, but....I keep my distance now. All 3 have lived with us at different times, *shudder* it wasn't a good thing. Pretty funny, I can get along with hubby's ex- wife better than their children. Lol!
I have no really special abilities. I attract dogs, cats and kids, if you call that an ability! I believe in Alternative Healing, Organics, Homemade is best. I have done a lot of Genealogy, being trained by a Professional Genealogist. I LOVE studying things such as Psychology, Philosophy, Eastern Philosophies, Religion, Physics.
