When you first learn about your abilities, it can be very stressful and confusing. We are told, when things are scary/wrong to go to our parents and they will be able to help. In some instances though, they don't help - they don't help and they just laugh what you are saying off.
The early days/months of your Journey can be very hard. You are being bombarded with experiences and your intuition may even be playing a role in this as well.
You may be asking yourself either or all of the following questions:
Some answers to your questions, in my opinion:
Actually coming out of the "Closet"
Telling your parents about your psychic abilities is probably the hardest thing you can do. "Coming out of the closet" in the way of the paranormal can, and may, take a long time. It depends on your comfort level and your self-esteem. The reason that I say that is because there are going to be many, many people who say that you are crazy/will make fun of you for your abilities. You shouldn't listen to them because everyone is unique. They may just be making fun of you because they want to be bullies.
Methods of coming out of the "Closet"
There really is only one way of coming out of the closet, but because of my experiences, and some of the friends that I know, I just want to be blunt with you and say that it is not easy to come out of the closet and expect the people you tell not to think that you are crazy.
I say this because I have had to figure out on my own how to deal with this and how to tell other people so you can get help/advice about it. I have some friends who I have that have helped me with various parts of my Journey. My other advice for you is to be careful with who you talk to about your abilities. Some people don't want to hear anything of it and some people will. Some people will want to help you and some people will not want to help you and they'll think you're crazy. You will be able to feel who is a "good" person to talk to and who is a "bad" person to talk to with this subject.
There is help out there for you, and you, you have found a home. No one on this website will make fun of you for your abilities or asking questions about them. We will all help you to the best of our ability.
Know that you are at home when you are here. This is your home away from home. We are glad that you have found us. Welcome home.
The early days/months of your Journey can be very hard. You are being bombarded with experiences and your intuition may even be playing a role in this as well.
You may be asking yourself either or all of the following questions:
- "What did I do to deserve this?"
- "Why am I experiencing this?"
- "Am I the only person who is experiencing this kind of thing?"
- "What do I do to cope with this?"
- "Is something going to hurt me?" / "Am I in danger?"
- "Am I crazy?"
- "Who can I talk to about this?"
Some answers to your questions, in my opinion:
- You didn't do anything. Your Creator just chose you to be one of the people to take on his work for him on Earth.
- You're experiencing this because your Creator knows that you are ready to be able to comprehend this if you just try.
- You are not the only one who experiences these types of things. People on this website have. And they are here to talk to you about them.
- You didn't do anything that you remember. Before you were born, you and your Creator planned out your life and then when you two liked it, he let you come down to Earth to live what you two planned out.
- Nothing is going to hurt you and you are not in danger per say. There is, however, some bad/dangerous things in the world of the paranormal. They are things that no one wants to deal with, but some people have jobs are actually just that - dealing with the dangerous portion of the paranormal. There are, however, things you can do to make sure you don't have to deal with the bad side of the paranormal this early on in the development of your abilities/knowledge of the paranormal.
- That is what most psychologists/parents want you to think - that you are crazy and that what you are experiencing is wrong/all in your head and you are not really experiencing it at all - even when you know you are.
- That is the sole reason we created this website. You can all talk about your abilities and your experiences on this website and get help.
